Sunday Evening Update

| Tonight, we honor those lost while serving our country at the general assembly. "Their Names Will Live For All Generations" is a non-denominational memorial service for the entire state. Following the memorial service, citizens will head back to the campaign trail. Tonight is the county caucus for both the Nationalist and Federalist parties. Each group will select its nominees for county office, as well as the Boys State Senate. Campaign quickly....as county elections are tomorrow at 1:00 PM. |
Boys State has really opened my eyes to a great college and real world experience. From the moment I arrived, nonstop fun and excitement was in the air. Learning marches, and chants that go a long togetherbonded our group. Singing the National Anthem outloud gave me goosebumps realizing that all other 600 members here all love this country as much as me. Boys State so far to me is a great real world experience since everyone is put out on a college campus and giving free time to go around, play sports, learn new things, and make new friends. It is an amazing thing that I am so privoleged to be here with everyone. |
