Boys State so far has been an experience that has allowed me to meet fellow outstanding students from across the state. I've had the opportunity to be selected as one of the militia commanding officers. As mayor of Brown City, I've overseen the appointment of several heads of departments and the creation of many committees such as the Food Ordering committee and the Barber Shop committee. As a proud member of Savage County, I encourage all of my fellow citizens in Brown City to be involved in all elections to the fullest and to behave in a respectable manner. The opportunity to be involved in Boys State is something that I appreciate now more than I did when I was informed that I had been nominated to attend, and I certainly do not regret my decision to attend.
