For those running for state office, tonight is a special night. Each candidate will be given time to address its statewide party delegation at the Nationalist and Federalist Party Conventions. The campaigning continues throughout the evening and tomorrow morning. Polls open at 10:15 tomorrow morning for the state primary election.

Each of these candidates has completed a nominating petition, getting 15 signatures of support from within their party. In addition, each has also completed a compulsory session of state primary candidates.

So far, my experience here at Boys State has an incredable one. Upon coming to Boys State, I was not sure exactly what to expect. Once here, I realized that the best way to make friends and make the most of this awesome experience is to simply get involved. Thus far, I have been voted City Clerk of my city and Senator my my county. My experience here has been nothing but an enjoyable one. I would highly recomend Boys State for anyone who is interested in government. It's an outstanding learning experience and I'm grateful for the opportunity to participate in Boys State.
