The five team sports will compete in their last regular season game, with state playoffs to occur tomorrow afternoon. STATE PRIMARY ELECTION RESULTS ARE IN!!! |
Being selected to a Senate spot was a true honor to me, when I arrived at the first with the eight other members of the Senate I saw some of the best students in the state. They were enrolled in vast amounts of A.P. classes, leaders of their football and basketball teams, and some had goals of attending Harvard and Stanford. The group of men I am with I have a huge respect for in every way, which shows my surprise when I was voted by my fellow Senators to be the President of the Senate. Already we as a group have a great debate over topics that not only effect Boy’s State, but large issues in our own state of Illinois such as Education, Preservation of State Parks, and even a talk over curfew time. It is a privilege and a honor to work with and lead this group and it will be a joy of mine to remember for the rest of my life. Thank you Boy’s State. |
